I used to rent Bonnevilles for $550/month -- and was upset when I didn't put at least 12k on each one every month.

I remember renting one with 8 miles on it and returning it with 15080 miles 30 days later. Knowing that the company sold them after 12k, it just didn't seem right. Once in a while I would get an oil change which they would reimburse for -- then one day they told me they didn't want to rent to me anymore. So, I started driving Impalas through another company. Geesh I don't miss that life.

ahh the days of the 26 hour service call trips.

DC, Wilmington, Philly, NYC, Middletown, Queensbury, Ithica, Utica, Harrisburg, home. Sleep for 8 hours, then do the southern route.

Rented a Tempo a few times -- never could get used to the smell. haha

Queensbury? Why on earth would you go to Queensbury? Tribune Media?

Stories like these are exactly why I only buy Canadian cars.

I helped design, engineer and support a slow-scan video over 9600 baud dialup in Sunoco A-Plus, 7-11s up and down the east coast, Crown Petroleum, and a bunch of other smaller chains.

Queensbury had a Sunoco/Atlantic A-Plus store that for some reason needed repair somewhat frequently.
