The Official Why Didn't My Site Get Listed At Javes Thread

I do sometimes rewrite stuff if I really like the site and I didn't get so pissed off that they put the same thing in the title and description with two words added.

The real issue, besides the fact that I'm lazy, is the main reviewer for Cleo's is a Brazilian woman which English is her third language and probably not the best choice for someone to be writing enticing and descriptive English slang.

I rewrite them if I like the site. I also rewrite for good submitters that have a terrible time writing descriptions (the text on their sites are fine) so they will get more traffic to their site. Of course this all depends on my mood and how much time I have

There is no backlog at Javes. The queue is emptied daily.

If I didn't get a decline/acceptance email, does that mean that I was deleted or should I try to re-submit? I'm fairly new to building freesites, I am a gallery builder, but I thought it was fairly clean and the content is not too overused, although I have used some pics from this set in a gallery. I did change a couple of things after I submitted (I noticed a couple of the thumbs weren't linked to their corresponding full size pic) so maybe your script picked that up...

Truthfully, I don't recall seeing that one. Whether or not I would accept it would come down to my mood at the time of review. The banner on main page contains an image of a fake video player and I often perceive those as a blind link, but it is in the middle of an half-page ad, so maybe not. Definatelty would depend on whether or not I had my morning coffee.

You realize that those vid caps will get you declined at most of the places you've reciped on the index, right? Breaking their rules wouldn't make me decline the site. Just wanted to make sure you know that.
