PSW, J P Media & Russian Submitter

Well, Havent we had a messed up morning today. My wife goes to submit today using Russian (we use it and a nice hand submit list for TGPs) and it doesnt work. It SHOULD work, I mean they took the money out of our account on the 17th of this month 5 days ago. So we start some phone calls, turns out Russian submitter cancelled our account because J P Media/PSW Billing has gone or will go bankrupt (although when we called PSW they seem to have no idea what/who J P Media is even though RS is telling us they are one in the same) Either way, we paid our money and are being dnied the service.
RS is stating that PSW has screwed them for 2 months so they cancelled anyone who was being billed by them. So IF you use RS and IF the billing is PSW do NOT exspect service from RS. You will have sign up with '2checkout billing' and use you old username and password.

This sucks

can you say chargeback?

PSW BILLING|raygun|
(its a shame I you dont hav a smiley taking a gigantic dump on scammers.

If you go to RS's board you will see that Popeye posted that they fucked them for their money and they have changed pressors again.

They are telling everyone that if they get charged again that they should charge back any charges.

They also gave instructions for how to join up with the new processor.

They sure do seem to have a lot of problems with their processors. How many have they gone through in the last few years?

Not that I want to use a broad brush, but their issues with processors probably has a bunch to do with scamming webmasters, using fake CCs or charging back when they don't make enough money with their galleries.

It is, IMHO, a symptom of a much larger malaise in the "volumes of submits" TGP model.

I would probably pretty much agree Alex.

It's too bad because Wad and Popeye really have done their best to make it work. It really can be a very good tool with used properly both for building up a small TGP like the one I run and for getting your galleries out there.

Unfortunately it is also a very good tool for the scammers as well and they have fucked up things for everyone just like they always do. |raygun|

I'm really wondering if it is down for good this time, probably not.

Anyone remember the ShavenFerret?

Well, I got an email from them explaining the problem before I realized it wasn't working.

Crap happens... RS is a good tool and is constantly being improved so I gladly re-signed with the new processor. It sucks that I might end up paying for a month twice but if PSW is going bankrupt there's not much that can be done about that except to try and deal with the credit card company. I will watch for future billings from PSW and make I don't get billed from them further.

Yeah BigJohn, I definitely see your point, and as I stated earlier RS has been really stand up about the entire thing. Its a shame that a lot of people ended up getting ripped off, but in the end RS can be held blameless
