Owens Corning Basement System!

Hey all,

Just had my basement refinished with this new system from Owens Corning.

I'm not a saleman or anything, so this isn't a sales pitch or anything like that.

I just wanted to see if anyone else has done this and what they think of it.

I really like the system, but it's a bit on the expensive side - lol!

Wow that is a beautiful home tortus32 I love it!! Thanks for the great slide show also. I grabbed a cup of hot tea and sat here and watched the hole thing. I love how you showed it as it was being done. I have to say there in nothing I don't like about your home in fact I'm in love with it! Have one question: can I have it?

Congrats I'm sure you and your family will be very happy there. absolutely gorgeous!!

That basement is where I'll be doing most of my up-coming photo shoots

Very nice house.
Owens corning is definetly not cheap.
I was going to get the home theatre package they had for sound deadening but passed on it.

It is very expensive. The basement system cost us 18 grand, but it's guaranteed for life, and if we sell the house the guarantee is passed to the new owner. I figured that should add to the value of the house quite a bit.

I like that it's mold proof and you can take sections down if you need to. It really is amazing how it absorbs sound. I can't wait to get a theater system down there.
