Happy Finally Friday (Happy Veteran's Day)

Good morning although Ive been up since 4 am - and to all of my comrades from the military - I salute you

small rant/ Happy is not an appropriate way to salute Veterans Day - its not really a "holiday" but more a remembrance and salute to those that have fallen in war - and it makes me cringe when I hear the news media say that as well - although theyve already been told off a few times this morning /rant off

Although to that end - I also respect your right to say anything you please and gave an oath a long time ago to defend your right to speak freely to my death as many of the people we salute today have done and died for

That's a very good point and I've honestly never paused to think about it. We've made everything a Hallmark moment. For me, it's a happy Veteran's Day because I'm happy to not be serving under this Bush (though I did during his father's term).
