Findpics partner account app page is up

First off, the page:

Second, let me give you some quick details.

Partners get one submit per day to findpics, and one submit per day to link2x, and I may open other properties into the program at a later date. Partner accounts are good for one year starting December 1st, 2005. Partner accounts are free, but there is a fee for reviewing applications. The fee covers my time to review your application and check the sites you have submitted with it. I am currently only accepting payment via Epassporte. I may accept other payment types in the future, but I am not intending to accept payment via PAYPAL.

Currently, Findpics is a PR4 link site, and the individual category pages are for the most part PR3.

Submits to Findpics will also get additional listings on smaller niche sites and other mixed lists, which will help get the bot sniffing around your stuff.

Why am I going to partner accounts? Quite simply, I have gotten tired of writing and re-writing code on my site in attempts to block out spammers and scammers. I have put in blocks, blacklists, and triple checking,and still the scammers persist, registering new domains, new affiliate accounts, and opening new proxies. I am disgusted to see that only 1 out of 20 visits to my submit page generates a submission even worth the time to review.

Partner accounts will be limited. I don't have a number set in my mind yet, but I will look at the nubmers to assure that everyone who has a partner account will normally get listed within 48 hours.

If a partner's sites are declined, I will contact them personally with an explaination. My goal will be to list as close to 100% of partner submissions as possible.

There is more, but I think this is enough for now.

Partner accounts are subject to all of the standard rules of submission, and a link back will be required with each submit.

Just a reminder: No, I am not going to take money via PAYPAL. If they find that I am accepting money for ANYTHING related to adult, they will close my account and lock the money. That is not an acceptable risk. If you want to send a money order, indicate this in your application... but I cannot review until the funds arrive.

Just a couple of updates:

The first batch of partner accounts will be processed late tonight or early tomorrow. These partners will be issues the new submit URL for both findpics.net and link2x.com, which will assure them front of the line priviledges until public submits are closed for good. I will not process the next batch for a few days after that, so if you want to be in this group, get your application today.

As for the number of people signed up, I have reached about 30% of the total number of accounts I will issue (based on number of applications).

I will also be working on all the requests and questions that I have in PM here as the day goes on today.

One Additional note: This has come up in 2 PM's and on at least one other chat board, and I want to make this clear:

If you have submitted in the past and your sites are listed, your sites will not be removed if you do not have a partner account. I am not dumping everyone already listed. Sites will drop off in the normal course of maintaining the list, but right now the average listing time is about 2 years. Not really a big deal, you know?

What is in the future will not affect what has been done in the past. I appreciate each and every good submission I have gotten.

Quick note: Due to a minor (and somewhat stupid) oversight on my part, the partner accounts won't be active until I code an extra module or two. So, the announcements may be in your mailboxes late tonight if I get it done. Doh!
