Awstats is best, and you can use the filter function to filter out urls so you can see more clearly exactly how many hits to each freesite.
Awstats is free and included by most hosts, if your host does not have it ask them for it. Some LLs dont accept javascript at all so its best not to use javascript for tracking stats.
