Multi-submitting stupidity...

Maybe I wasn't clear with the terms I was using -- mutli-submit in particular. I have no problem with people sumbitting to my site multiple times a day. Go for it.

What I do have issues with is a submitter creating multiple accounts, using different user names, and using different email addresses when there is no reason to as I take multiple submissions from anyone. The reason I nag is as ponygirl said, 'it is as if he is trying to pull one over on me'. Or the fact that he's never even bothered to read my rules and made multiple accounts as that is his routine to cheat other linklists. And stuveltje I've read your posts about submitters that never bother to read your rules and I know that kind of ticks you off.

As I allow mutliple submissions, I never thought I'd need a rule that clearly stated, only one account per submitter because it makes absolutley no sense to have more then one. Hope that clears it up.

haaa oke i am sorry i misunderstood your point, and yep i freak out but then i have to review about 9 linksites and i see the same with every linksite, still its fun to catch them and then to BLACKLIST, i dont warn anymore, i dont sent email , i just blacklist those. So you ,go and blacklist them too

No problem stuveltje , I even thought about how to phrase the term multi-submitter in my first post, but that's what people normally call it when the submitter uses multiple identities so I just stuck with that.

I know you are right, but regardless of how it seems I'm too nice a guy at heart. I have a hard time banning anyone unless I know they are earnestly trying to cheat me. I broke a rule on my second free-site I ever created and had I gotten banned for that instead of learning from my mistake I would not be here today.

I guess being as 90% of my submitters seem to come from Greenguy and Jim I was hoping the submitter would see this thread and figure out that he could easily be found out, even by an idiot like me and change his ways before someone else posts his IP and URLs on the cheating forum and he gets banned from a gang of sites.
