How can you call 55F cold? Back in the UK it would be a reasonably pleasant Spring day
Here in GA it's around 28F - which really is cold!
Incidentally, I agree that 'cold as hell' is a strange expression - bit like when you say to one of your kids ' I won't tell you again'
