GG, my blood pressure went sky high because I have never asked you or Jim for anything special. I chatted with Surfn before starting this rant post and it came down some. MrML lowered it back to normal. I gave him the suspicions and the long details and never intend to go public with it. But it does suck. Hell, it was just time and money.

Damn Jim ass stinks. Smells like a Harley.

Kevin, I know you have the experience to know. So they were on my contact list? Is it possible for the window to time out and close?

Chop I don't believe they can time out a message on your PC at home. To do this means they need to have control of your system which I doubt they have.

Basically It's the same as an email. I send you an ICQ message and your ICQ manager receives it and keeps it. It's on your system now. I have no control over that message anymore unless there is something about ICQ I don't know about.

I guess I did something to close the window but even I would have known to have gotten the number if it was even there.

Since I had trouble getting a request to be added as new contact to work, I still tend to believe it came thru ICQ. It is something that I will not ever know how it happened.

I get requests to have someone added to my ICQ hourly. My typical response is "Do I know you?" Usually there is no answer and I delete them. I guess my low number attracts them. lol

Now before they cleaned ICQ up I had an ignore list longer than my arm!

Thanks, DD. All is well with me today. It just pissed me off. The only damage done was I was unproductive for a few hours due to the ignorant brainless imbeciles.
