This can be a close decision. An occasional sponsor could be unhappy. In general, if the page you're using the content on is primarily focused on the sponsor (80%) providing it, you're not going to have a problem by adding a secondary, minor link to another site in a related category or even better use the link to connect back to one of your own pages in your main site.

Again, here use the link to try and sell the surfer something either to a related sponsor site or back to your main site pages. You should always provide the 2257 info but you don't have to use up a valuable link to do it.

Instead of :
<a href="mysponsor/2257.htm">2257 Info</a>

just add the link location as text like:

2257 Info= www.mysponsor/2257.htm
