Have You Been Scammed by Jay Servidio and Teleteria?

Of course, the best advice for newbies is to run as fast as you can from serial Internet fraudster Jay Servidio and Teleteria Inc. If you let your guard down for a minute, you can be taken in by the turnkey Web site swindles at teleteria.com. However, if he has already ensnared you in one of his scams, don’t give up hope! We at Teleteria.info have some helpful suggestions.

(Please be aware that we at Teleteria.info do not give legal advice, and you alone are responsible for whatever happens if you follow our proposals. Nevertheless, we have some common-sense ideas that may help.)

As soon as you realize that Teleteria’s fraudulent turnkey Web site can never make money because of shoddy overpriced content and cheaper high-quality completion:

1. STOP PAYING THE CHISELER IMMEDIATELY. Hopefully, you made your payments by credit card. Go to your credit card company at once, explain that you are being defrauded, and request that your payments to Teleteria be charged off. If you paid by check, retain the photocopies of your checks that come with your checking-account statements. These could be valuable in any fraud actions or complaints you may file against Teleteria. Also, they could also be evidence if Servidio and Teleteria are not reporting income to the IRS.

2. Orally and in writing, demand full repayment from Teleteria for all the money you have paid because you have been defrauded. Scammer Servidio is not likely to return your money, but it can be helpful to have records of how, when, and why you demanded repayment.

3. Flimflammer Servidio may suggest that any problems with the Web site can be solved if you “buy traffic” from him. DON’T FALL FOR THIS TRICK. As a dyed-in-the-wool con artist, Servidio requests even more money when his victims become suspicious. He’ll charge you an outrageous amount of money for “traffic,” and you’ll learn the hard way that it’s more money down the Teleteria rat hole.

4. When you refuse to pay any more money and demand a full refund, Servidio will scream that you have a contract with him. Don’t worry about his so-called contract because he’s engaging in fraud, and no judge will enforce a fraud-based contract. He will threaten to sue you. Tell him to go ahead. He’s not going to sue anyone for two reasons: the aforementioned fraud and the fact that Teleteria is a shoestring operation and he can’t afford to sue anyone. This is another of a fraudster’s empty threats.

5. When you stop paying, insist that you retain the Web site and its design work. After all, Servidio and Teleteria claim that you “bought” the site. In reality, of course, when you stop paying, Servidio retains the site and design work and SELLS IT TO THE NEXT SUCKER. Check with your attorney. This may be the best place to hang your hat in any legal action alleging fraud. Servidio “sells” you the site yet never gives up possession.

6. Servidio’s idea of salesmanship is to scream obscenities at you over the phone. Hang up on the corruption king. He has been known to threaten physical violence against his customers and their spouses, but not to worry. He’s what they call in Texas “all hat and no cattle.” He won’t do anything because he’s the fat bully on the playground who runs away when you stand up to him. However, if he continues to harass and threaten you, call the police. According to a reliable source, a Teleteria customer called the police in Connecticut about Servidio’s threats and harassment. The cops reportedly told Servidio that he’d be arrested if he called the victim again. End of problem.

Crook Servidio has got to be stopped from hurting, scamming, and stealing from people. That’s why we at Teleteria.info are working hard to put Teleteria out of business and Servidio in jail. In the meantime, warn any newbies about the Teleteria Trickster. Encourage them to Google “Jay Servidio” and “Teleteria” before sending dime one to this victimizer.

I hate this type of drive-by post. I don't know Jay Servidio and perhaps he is a con artist, but who in the hell is stacystreur? What would make you believe him?

Teleteria has been around scamming people for a looong time.
If it's a paysite, shoes or content, do your research and you will be happy. Best advice I can give.

Sorry if you're offended by "drive-by posts." You are obviously a very sensitive person and we are truly sorry for offending you. However, newbies must be protected by serial Internet crook Jay Servidio and Teleteria. We at teleteria.info suggest that you get comfortable in your pajamas, brew some more coffee, and ignore drive-by posts if they bother you.

I don't agree with this statement.

Houses can not really be "child proofed" and the
Internet can damn sure not be "newbie proofed."

The world is a dangerous place. It always was,
and probably always will be.

I have no problem with your desire to warn people.
But "newbies" aren't some special group that needs our
protection. They're just people. People need to take more
responsibility for their own decisions. If someone decides
to act without doing proper research, they will often get
surprised by the results of their actions. If that's how they
choose to run their lives offline, it's really not our duty to
protect them when they choose to come online.

That said...I'm willing to help pretty much anyone at any
time. Doesn't matter if they're newcomers or old salts.
I just don't think that "protecting newbies" is some kind
of mission that we need to be on.

How did you know that Chop wears pajamas?

It's really hard to feel sorry for a newbie who probably lost 2-5k to Jay when the newbie comes off as a cock. So keep that in mind before you post like that again.

We all know that Jay is an unethical (and extremely clever) bastard. The only reason he is still around comes down to the fact that he doesn't appear to be doing anything illegal. Unethical yes, illegal - no. So, buyer beware. When I first started hearing about him I too felt compassion for the non-thinkers who fell for his deal, but a few years later, I couldn't really care anymore.

What Toby said rings so true. That type of newbie doesn't read the boards and they don't do any research. They are the get rich quick fuckers. So

This guy Servidio and the website teleteria.com have been known as scams for a long time. I'm really surprised people fall for it anymore, since all you have to do is type in "teleteria.com scam" you will see quite a few pages filled with complaints and content showing that his site is a complete scam.

I can't believe people don't research things more before they buy! Especially from turnkey websites, which have a lot of fraud and/or bullshit involved in them

Chill people. Pretty much all of us here don't like drive-by posters, spammers and scammers. But why bite the head of a drive-by poster that posts about a well known scammer and doesn't post about a product that will save them from this scammer?
It's just info that will come up if a future newbie does some research about Teleteria.

Here is my point. Until Swedguy replied to this thread the thread was useless due to the fact that the only thing we have ever heard from this stacystreur character was his rewrite of his site's page to the board.

Being of legal age, it am embarrassed when I am ripped off. Damn if I am going to make it public as how stupid I can be. Wonder if this Jay Servidio will take my money to make me some hosted free sites?

Well I'm one of those guys who got ripped off when I started out. But I can honestly say that 50% of it was my fault. Like most newbes I did not research. I guess the only thing I had over some new people was I never expected to get rich on the web nor did I expect it to be easy work. I guess that's why I'm still around after roughly two years of failing. But it's the same thing as a real life store business, if it seems to good to be true then it is. If you open a candy store and only know how to build houses without researching for a long time, then you are going to fail and most likely get ripped off in the process.
Stacy I'm not jumping you here, but do what I did after my problem. Sit back and ask yourself, (what questions you did not ask) when starting business with this person. Did you search on the website name? Did you search the BBB? I'm sure you will find that you made plenty of bad business choices and you know if it's a legal business then maybe you have some legal action you can take. As far as part 6 of your rant, here's my advice. Your in Texas right? Invite him over your home, when he walks into the house tell him to get out and then shoot him. It's legal there I think.

Stacy has done drive-bys on a few boards. I agree, it's still good for people to know. But as stated, most every person that comes up saying they have been scammed, did no research before they handed over their money.
