Here is the answer we got from the company that owns the above ip which does NOT host ARS servers at all. Basically 66.115.148.25 leads to National Net, ARS does not host any servers at Nat Net. You must be having some issue down the pipe leading to the wrong place.

"I have looked over the data we have for those domains (DNS and other wise) as well as the DNS records elsewhere on the internet (Earthlink, Comcast, Etc.), and everything says that the domain (and sub-domain) is at FlyingCroc. You probably should call your ISP and tell them you cant reach those domains. I also think you should run at least 4 different spyware programs. I know I have to use at least 3 when I get something installed.

Microsoft has a great anti spyware, I also suggest Spybot Search and destroy. Also check your pc for files created or modified on 2/04/06 which was the last day you logged into ARS.

It is not a spyware or malware problem. As I mentioned before I do use Spybot Search and Destroy daily.

If you use Spybot Search and Destroy only, I guarantee you that you have spyware on your computer. I run 3 different ones on my computer and there are always some that Spybot misses that others catch.

My three favs are SpyDoctor, Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasoft Adaware.

Years back I used to work for an online for a company in California. I could NOT get to the jobsite via my ISP. I tried everything possible, I did traceroutes, everything imaginable, but could not get on it. It ended up being my local ISP had banned that website for some reason. I had them release the ban, it was a mainstream site. I would do as suggested and perhaps contact your local ISP and see if they can figure out the problem. It could be something as simple as what I just mentioned.

No one Ive talked to can recreate this issue, so I will wait until you hear from your ISP.

Id still REALLY like to see your true trace route. Its the most important part of this whole issue.
