Only a small fraction of my visitors are on 800x600 over 78% are on 1024. I recently was on the hun too, I was surprised that those surfers are even useing bigger monitors and resolutions. ALOHA

Monitor sizes are not an accurate indication of what size webpages surfers prefer, since like cleo says some people don't keep their browsers maximized, and people like me either have Pluck or Bookmarks in my sidebar for surfing, even though my monitor is set at 1024px+.
