Another day begins…
Sunny and warm here today. Today is a gym day for me and then probably just going to come home to work.
Watched my neighbor throw a temper tantrum last night once again over trying to watch a movie from his video server. When I want to watch a DVD I stick a disk in my $50 DVD player and watch the movie. When he wants to watch a movie I watch him fumble with a bunch of remote controls in order to get the screen showing from the $40K
Kaleidescape server. Then a good deal of the time the video is choppy and he has to start going around his house resetting hubs, servers, RAIDs, and a bunch of other crap. By the time everything is working another hour has gone by or like last night it never started working correctly. Yeah that is much better then sticking a disk in a DVD player. His girl and I ended up at my house minus him and watched last Sunday's Sopranos off of my Tivo after he threw us all out pissed off at his expensive electronics.
