Do you care if sponsor forces browser full screen?

A sponsor I promote just implemented forcing all their paysite links to take over the surfers' browser forcing it to fill the monitor. (While they allow affiliates the option to not have a link do popup ads, there's currently no option to avoid this latest full screen size paysite feature.)

Curious to know will any link lists owners here refuse submitted free sites with a sponsor who does this style of browser manipulation?

Cheers-
CatsEye

I don't use it as a reason to reject. But it pisses me off since I never surf with a full screen browser anymore.

Agreed, not a reason to reject, but I can't see how it can do anything but hurt conversions.

Many people may not care, but those that do will be just like me...
Don't fuck with my browser, I have it just how I want it!

Sponsor contends they implemented it recently and that "Tests have shown that this increases conversions."

I find that a little difficult to swallow. If that were the case, more sites would be doing it. It's not like it's some new innovation.

Fuck do I hate that.

It puts the control widgets under my Dock which I keep on the left side of my screen and then I have to first drag the window from under my Dock and then resize the window. Just a fucking pain in the ass.

I don't reject for this but did I mention that fuck I hate this?

It really pisses me off so unless everything else on the submit has been perfect I tend to decline for that

Sometimes I hit F11 accidentaly and my browser turns into the full screen mode, I get nervous almost instantly and quickly searching that F11 to push it again and get my browser into normal mode. I won't ban anyone who promotes a sponsor doing it, why should I... the webmaster will give up promoting them if the conversions will not be satisfying.

That would be my inclination as well.

Boggles the mind how many programs still think the way to make sales is to somehow 'force' or coerce the surfer into signing up
