Just as a side comment, I have a friend in BC with two boys.
Daycare in BC is approx 800 per child or more per month, and not subsidized by the province. So he hired an aupair (from Denmark). Brilliant idea. He gets a live-in and it's much cheaper than both of them in daycare each day.
