I was making the same mistake of using frontpage way too much for design try to get your hands on photo shop or some other program that will make your site look more fancy I,m still new it this myself but it gets easier

The very first site I built I used Front Page. After that I hand coded everything. "View Source" and "copy and paste" taught me a lot.
