I've often wondered about stuff like that. Personally, I don't care for the money shot. Jizzing on the girl's face does nothing for me in porn, or real life. If I wanted to finish with my hand I would have started with my hand. Unless people are expecting it, many will be surprised and annoyed. That being said, it would sure be hard to make it clear what was going on from a thumb.
