That's true, but people have been saying that since about 1997. It is a big reason why the price hasn't gone up, another reason is that it's cheaper and faster to make websites now. Content is cheaper, or free for a lot of wms, hosting is cheaper, or free. Expenses haven't gone up so prices have stayed the same.
