thats just basic view( might be harder to get that traffic to freehosted blog, you might loose a sale or two to freehost owned banner), however thats a bit different from your maths

you mean majority sales will go to 1 freehost banner then to 15 or whatever my banners + my blog post links?
Ps im am for my own domain and hosting, just like i said i did not understand the maths..

What's your click thru rate (CTR)? Do you think on a free host, you will get less click thru to his advertising than to your own? In fact, your CTR to your sites will decline because you will have traffic leaking to the advertisers a free host puts on your blog. Since they typically select premium ad space, the fact is they will probably get a higher CTR than you do.

So, lets say it's equal and he gets the same clicks to his advertisers as you do from your blog and you make $273 from your click thru's. You can safely assume that he made an equal amount of money from the click thru's that you generated for him.

Thats money you could have generated without his advertisements on your page, therefore you just lost money.
