It's not much, but the small steady trickle can add up over time, and the quick and lasting attention they bring from SE spiders is nice too.

Simple explanation of traffic scripts:

Content links point to an encoded url produced by the script. When a surfer clicks on a link they may (or may not) be redirected to a "traffic trading partner" instead of the destination they expected. Traffic trading partners do the same on their end. The one with the most traffic at the end of the day wins... or something... I don't know how the game is played, I just know the rules.
