Don't feel bad for not being sure. It really does need to be explained better.
Even though we send out a letter showing exactly what code to use on our link, I can't tell you how many times I've looked over a new affiliate's site and find that not only is the affiliate ID in our link code wrong, but every CCBill sponsor link on the page has that same wrong ID in the link code. I've even had a couple of (ex) affiliates argue with us about which ID they had to use. At least you asked first.
