looking for good server

[chilihost]

Fmonster, it sounds like you were on a dreamhost account or something similar??? they throttle cpu usage and their TOS specify they can shut you down for using too much resource.....heaven forbid you actually use the service they are supposed to be providing to you

A quality host will work with you to ensure you are running your scripts optimally and to upgrade your hardware when it comes time that you need to upgrade. FYI, I have quite a few clients that run multiple blogs (including me) and have no server load issues at all.

cheers,
Luke

Luke's gotten you taken care of with the answers. The couple of things that I would suggest are:

1. Choosing a host familiar with the adult industry
2. a host that can grow with you from shared to dedicated, if thye have somewhere to migrate you too after you outgrow the shared resources it is doubtful that they will want to slay the goose laying the golden eggs and shut you down before offering you an upgrade.

Webair has been a solid performer over the years but if you have any alternate requirements or even the need for backup storage let me know and we can certainly help you with it.
