When I started in the biz for my first go around, I made the mistake of getting myself soley into one groove..TGP traffic. I never utilized the resources like Free Sites, Link Lists, etc. Mainly because I didnt understand them and how they worked. There was never a really good webmaster board like GG&J's to bounce ideas off others or just soak in the knowlegde of all that have gone before me or along side of me.
You will ultimately find what works for you but dont limit yourself to one outlet. Make good use of this board and other resources and you will learn some very valuable lessons and how the industry works.
