The point about the US is it's built on multicultural, if you were born in the US your identity is an american, whether or not your ancestry is from another country/culture.

You're right, it doesn't mention religion on passport as i just checked on mine but i'm sure it was asked when i filled the forms in.

It was just that anyone i've known being atheist have always stated that in religious qustions on forms.

So with that in mind, you are an israeli and you are an atheist, where does the jewish bit come in?
