Bob, are you seriously asking why a Jew would take offense to your poor attempt at humor? Now, are you really going to tell me that you can't at all understand why someone would be at least a little sensitive about another person making light of the systematic slaughter of their ancestors? Hitler aspired to wipe out the entire ethnic group. Ethnicity goes beyond religion or language or nationality. I think you are missing that very important point.

He killed them for their religion as he did with many others who didn't fit his master plan, wasn't just jews, he wanted to wipe out anyone that didn't fit the master race plan (blonde, blue eyed).
As i said, they were german origin with jewish religious beliefs.
