Licker, IMO Google does want updated pages in their index. I have long believed there is some sorta update boost (rather than a penalty) for Google. From my experience, updating your pages a little with updated content will not hurt your listings. I will give you an example...
I owned the #1 spot for pornsites in Google for a while and I was constantly updating my index and still do. Eventually I lost the listing, but it wasn't because of updating my site. ![]() Just my .02. |
