Friday was a fucking nightmare - waited around 8 hours for Verizon to never show, I had a pipe burst in the attic of the Pool House which caused the 11th flood down there since I moved in (oddly enough, all 11 have been for different reasons) and the Sabres lost to Ottawa (but that made Ramster & Chris happy)

Today I'm going to verbally abuse my contractor (we had the Pool House insulated over the summer to avoid problems like this) & then watch football while inhaling wet musty air.

I've had that before, they tend to lag the pipes but not the stop cocks or taps.

The water in the tap freezes and splits the pipe on the connection.
I ended up doing it myself rather than pay some lazy shithead to do a half hearted job.
