am I blind or?????
how do so many people have avatars and custom quotes on their posts but I can't seem to find those options in my profile. I am usually pretty good at finding the little bits and pieces, but drawing balnks with this one...

Just go to the link on top of the page that says "USER CP" so you get in your control panel. There you choose "Edit Options" and at the bottom of that page you can enter an avatar.
