Tek that sounds good to me and Twiceshy mentioned that if she got down to the next show, she may be interested in seeing the grand canyon to. That way Emmy can gamble while we go walkabout after she called the grand canyon "a fucking big hole in the ground"

Cleo. Zion I have never heard of but your photos of red rock canyon look nice. I'll have to make a list of places to see for the next trip. It will be a damn site cheaper than staying in the casinos

Taking the tour of down inside Hover Dam is another great visit. It was built with real pride all in Art Deco style.

Another good one is Valley Of Fire, just outside Vegas, I have some pics that I will post soon. And the Grand Canyon, the first time I went my knees buckled; just unbelievable, I don't care what pictures you've seen or what you think of it, when you see it, WOW, it will blow your mind.

Here is Zion

Valley of Fire (of course Emmy will rag on me for the "food" pics)

Hoover Dam (not many)

Zion is actually a nice trip.. about 9 hours via bus round trip. Grand Canyon is about 12 hours and depending on your mode of transport, can be kind of loooong.

Red Rock is about 30 minutes from the strip and quite nice in the fall/winter/spring. In the summer, it's well the desert..and boiling.
