The site layout will be for a 1024 wide page, so a page header around 960 x 240, give or take. It would be nice if it was expandable to fill the full width of the screen, regardless of resolution.
Thumb sections will be about the same 960 wide, but the actual table header will only need to fit on the left top of each table and blend into the rest of the table border graphics. The borders will also need to be done so that the table width and height are flexible. The thumb tables on well-heeled-women.com are a good example of how the borders will work, except that I want the section name integrated into the top left of the border graphics. (section names will be static such as Hall of Fame, Today's Best, etc.) I hope I 'splained that so it made sense. Last edited by Toby; 2008-08-26 at 03:16 PM.. |

And Lord, we are especially thankful for nuclear power, the cleanest, safest

Hey Toby, if you don't mind my asking, what percentage of your site visitors are still using 800x600 screen resolution?
I've been building my free sites 760 wide, but I've been thinking about going wider as I'd like to have the extra space. |
