Florida's ballot was confusing to say the least.

It was hard to tell whether a Yes vote meant you were for the bill, or, were for removing the provision from the constitution. I would suspect that too many Floridians didn't quite understand what they were voting for. They need to simplify things and say:

Do you want to allow same sex marriages? Yes or No

Do you want to tax the improvements to the home for storm preparedness or energy conservation? Yes or No

America surprised me last night. Deep down I had a feeling of -- what people will tell the pollsters and what they will actually do at the poll are two different things. I sort of felt Obama would lead in the polls, but lose the actual election not because of principles, but because of the color of his skin or his heritage.

Lets hope the transition team is treated more fairly than when Clinton was elected and hopefully we'll see a brighter future much closer on the horizon.
