Sort of. The ratios in both cases are terrible and getting worse. No one can figure out how to stop the leaking. Not TV, not online....

No one will answer my question: Why would you buy a membership if you can go to pornhub.com? It's an honest question. And just saying that it's up to me or whoever to convince or 'trick' the person into thinking they 'need' a membership doesn't count. Consumers are far more savvy than that and it's dangerous to underestimate them. (btw: I keep using pornhub as an example but they're hardly alone)

In order to answer that,I have to answer the question,'why do people do the things they do?'The answer is I don't know..But they do.

The world population is about 6.7 billion right now.I can sit hear and ponder what would drive each and every person to buy something they don't need all day long or I can build a porn site that I KNOW will convert at least 1:1500 with surfers.I'm not hoping or preying that some stupid gullible idiot will stumble along my path and purchase a pass from me.This conversion is going to happen because a horny guy choose to buy a pass.

It's a combination of factors - but the simple fact is, some percentage of surfers still do.

Not as much as before, no. And it will get worse.

I can go into my theories and explantions of why, talk about excitement thresholds, porn addiction and the craving for variety, "face hunting", the ecology of the internet and virtual regions, specialty shopping, impulse buying, and fetishistic attractions, etc etc.

But it doesn't seem like there's much point in doing so.

Personally, I think you should run from the porn biz like the devil himself was about to gore you with a 4 foot spiked and red hot iron cock. Intellectual property theft has doomed us all.
