Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand!

Warrior is right when he say the background is ugly. I know. I've been told that so many times... : )
But right now, after all these years, that "ugliness", and that particular "ugly" background is a kind of factory brand, it's what allow people to recognize my site. Infact, as Pagan already understood, I don't want to alter too much the spirit of the site. It's would be like a yellow Ferrari. It has to be red ! I think the solid color for the tables is a smart idea. And I definitively have to learn how to use CSS. Believe or not, in all these years, I've been making most of my pages using the glorious Netscape Navigator Gold 3.0 ! Just moved to NVU, even if it seems to have some problems with nested tables...

Well you know boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like women. You just have to read the manual and press the right button

I remember the way you had your catagories links on the main page before and I think that the new way you did it looks neater because you give a small descrpition for each catagorie.
If you don't want to alter things too much then I too would recommend using a solid color on the table background to help bring out the text more and make it easier to read and maybe also try and put up a few more banners. Most of the catagorie pages I saw had one banner at the top I would put a few more vertical banners down the center of your catagorie pages but not enough to over do it. |
