Every once in awhile, when I go to open FF, I get the warning that it's already running. So I check the task manager and see that FF is running in the background and consuming 99% of my PC's processing power. Makes me wonder if it really was running all that time, or if it was a failed start-up.

Same thing happens to me sometimes, the reason for it is a previous failure that made FF to not close properly.

About the topic of the thread, i can't say I'm surprised, IE is getting worse all the time, I only use it when I run into a site that for some reason works with IE only.
