Another great punk band was the Plasmatics. Wendy O. Williams was one of my idols growing up.

I still have my Plasmatics Legal Defense Fund button. Wendy used to get in trouble all the time for performing wearing only electrical tape covering her nipples. And I thank her for inspiring many of the girls I knew back then to try that outfit for themselves.

RIP Michael and RIP Wendy too.
