A decent free web editor???
Hi everybody,
 Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good (I know, "There aren't any good free editors!") free web editor that works well with thumbs? I have been using KompoZer but am having problems with the tables. I was thinking that there might be a better way...

You might also want to take a look at NVU, Ive heard good things about it. Never used it though. http://net2.com/nvu/

Komposer is nvu reborn - nvu was abandoned, sombody worked on its code more and came up with komposer.
Pagebreeze free edition "felt" better than komposer to me for simple page work. Dont be tricked into buying the pagebreeze pro version tho - it's basicaly the free version that they allow you to open up multiple instances of. Coffeecup isn't horrible. Probably the best of the free ones. It's a shame, komposer could be good. |

Thanks Bill, I will give Pagebreeze and Coffee Cup a try. I had been trying to use Kompozer because I had read that it was as close to Dreamweaver (which I hope to upgrade to) as you could get for free. Things aren't working the way I really want them to though.
Tickler, that is a cool site, I'll have to keep an eye on it.

I've also tried Pagebreeze. Not bad for simple tasks.
