Do you have access to your server log files? If you do, get them in a browser or a text editor and do a search (Ctrl+F) for the string "fusker" and you will see exactly what they are connecting to.
Some boards/communities/chat boards have a very fast turnover of messages, so they may be buried deeper into the site. You didn't say if you had .htaccess hotlink blocking working or not...
