Freesites:

You can submit to 100's of sites using auto submitters like Chameleon Submitter and Dream Submitter.
This type of traffic is slowly dying though but there's a few sales in there.
Its wise to buy a few quality Submit Passes or submit to thehun.

Blogs:
This is the SE friendly way and it's very easy to build them using wordpress.
If you are on a tight budget there's free hosted blogs like Sensual Writer and Thumblogger.
Once you build the blog you can submit them to Blog Directories.
