LOL, the electric pole accross the street from the office got a lightning strike yesterday and caught fire...off goes the power at our office (we only have about a half hr battery backups on our systems.

So I leave Boca Raton and head home to Coconut Creek to do our nightly orders from home...get the forex out but there goes the cable at home before I get to the futures.

So I switch over to att U_verse back-up and start doing them, when that goes down...

So I figure with my laptop go to the office again as I had left my att wireless card with my little lenovo there...take the sim out of the laptop and put it in my pc card modem and do the orders wirelessly.

I get back to the office and FPL just finished getting our power up so I figure I'll use the cable connection there, but that is still down at the office too...but I reset the DSL router backup there and bang I'm online for the 5 minutes to get the orders out...lmao

Wow. That sounds like quite the afternoon mother fucking nature adventure. I'd be shaking my fist at the sky in anger and frustration. That and I'd probably be driving far to fast in anger. I've gotten better with road rage. However, it still comes out. I think it helps once I sold the sports car. Was too easy to light the tires before. Now my acura sedan doesn't have the same muscle.

Just got done finishing up an application that uses odbc to interface with UPS worldship application. Pretty rad program.
