Things like that will happen. Not so long ago I renewed 5 domains. 4 of them renewed but one didn't. I posted about it here as I have free sites in that domain I have listed in LLs.
Now everything is OK and my registrar gave me back $15 for that, as they thought it was their error. Which reminds me I was going to buy a new domain, but it slipped my mind...OK, here I go for shopping...
