Looper was decent, for a time travel movie. Good writing, good acting, and not a gag-inducing use of the standard time travel tropes.

Can you tell I dislike the way movie makers typically exploit the cheapness of the time travel paradox? (By cheapness, I mean it's cheap to make time travel movies, just like it's cheap to make zombie movies, so they tend to make a crappy boatload of both...).
