That which does not kill us, will try, try again.

Good morning world
![]() Yesterday's plans went out the window since I wound up going down to Key West to visit an old friend. Hadn't been down there for awhile and was glad to get back home. All that bright lights big city stuff is just annoying. Crawling through town in second gear because of all the idiot tourists walking out into the street with no warning. At least back here all I have to deal with are the Key deer wandering across the road without using the deer crossing signs. But I can blame that on the size of their brains, while with the tourists...well, I guess it's kind of the same thing. Today's plans include going nowhere and trying to get a couple of days ahead on a few things so I can devote some concentrated time to new projects. Wishing a good post-hump day to all. ![]()

Once you're living anywhere from the middle Keys down, Key West is the big city. My island is twice the size of KW, but we're mostly known for having the National Key Deer Refuge, so the pace here is even slower. So having to drive 30 miles down to the land of the cruise ship idiots just reminds me why I don't want to go to any actual big city anymore. I like the peace and quiet now. * This is from someone who lived in Murray Hill in Manhattan and had my office on the roof of a building on Fifth Avenue. I just had enough of all that.
