And these strips of celluloid had to be run through a thing called a "film projector". The projectors projected them onto what we called "the big screen". This was a screen so big it was sometimes bigger than a house!

We had none of your new fangled vid-e-o tapes back then, we had to go to a special building called a movie theatre to see our movies.
