Over here we consider 2 blizzards in 1 year a "light blizzard year". And this year we also got over 4 months of almost constant torrential rain, which left so much of Britain under water that we were considering re-naming the country "New Atlantis". You get a little bit of snow, for only the second time this year, and all you do is moan, moan, moan. Here in Britain we were sinking beneath the waves, but we kept a stiff upper lip and carried on.

And I am really talking about England, go a bit north to Scotland (or even North England) and they get even worse weather - EVERY YEAR.

But then I guess us Brits are made of sterner stuff than you Yanks!
