He was an example of the old style hero. He didn't want glory and fame for himself. He wanted to serve his country that afforded him so many opportunities.

Most of the young men and women serving their country are just as much hero's.

It's a shame that in times like these that people can't get the proper perspective on duty, honor, and loyalty. Which is why his efforts make him so outstanding.
