HowlingWolf - The tiny house movement is a great idea especially if you are a single man since "most" men don't really need much. Bed, shitter, shower, microwave and a tv would do. Toss the little place on an acre or two of land and be done!

If you're handy, you could definitely turn that into a nice, tiny home. Many years ago, when I worked for a small foreign bank, we had a trader who lived with her husband on a boat in Toronto harbor -- even during winter.

Umm, this may be a silly question, but why not put it in water and live in it? I mean, it is a boat after all, so water kinda seems the right place for it. And lots of people live in boats on the water.

Plus you could save on heating/air conditioning bills by sailing further north in the summer, and south in the winter!

And when you have pissed of all your neighbours to the extent that one of them might kill you, just move the boat further down the river where you got a whole new set of neighbours to piss off!
