T'is been a busy morning, but nothing related to anything that makes me money.
Put the new sticker in the window and new plates on my car. It seems that Texas replaces license plates every seven years. No biggie, I hadn't memorized the old plate numbers yet anyway. ![]() Then it was clean up time, at least enough to be publicly presentable, so I could do a grocery run and stop at the pharmacy to pick up my quarterly refills. Money out, and more money out. Last stop Taco Bell drive-thru for lunch, since I never got around to breakfast. |grocery| So... when I finish stuffing my pie hole with this seven layer burrito I may actually do something related to making money. OK, related to hopefully making money. ![]() |

Before I went away I unplugged the oven. Forgot I did it and just spent several minutes trying to work out why my beef was not roasting.
When I worked it out I plugged the wrong plug in and spent a further few minutes trying to work out why giving electricity to my rice steamer did not make my oven work! Extra Puppy NewsYesterday, before I left, the puppy was really acting up. Refused to eat. Pissed on the stairs. Pissed right in front of the open door leading out onto the roof where he was supposed to piss. Etc.... This did not make me as mad as you'd think it would. This was because the only reason I can think of for him acting up was that he had seen me packing, knew this meant I was going home, and did not want me to leave. Sweet. You may be thinking that I would at least be a little annoyed at having to clean up the doggy piss. But nahh...... My friend has a housekeeper, cleaning up dog piss is part of her job description! |
