Monday August 31st (aka So Long, August!)

Got up reasonably early to clean out the bathroom. Wanted to do it before my neighbours got up to avoid questions about the padlock. Got through three bottles of bleach!

About 1:30 this afternoon I heard one of my neighbours hammering on another neighbour's door and shouting. It soon became clear that he was worried his friend had ODed in the night. I went out to see if I could be any help. Turned out that he was not so much worried that his friend might be dead, but worried that if his friend was dead, his dog would be desperate to get out to urinate! To hell with the human, he wanted to rescue the dog.

I think I like him a little more now!

(P.S, The guy was not dead, but had so many illegal drugs running through his body that the banging and shouting did not wake him!)
